Icon Sets: Gnome, Gnome-Colors, Tango, Tangerine, Cheser, Elementary, Humanity
|
|
|
|
The WinTango Patcher is a mostly self-explanatory graphical wizard designed to make simple the process of modifying your system files with resources which are mostly inspired/based on Tango, GNOME, Elementary and many other open-source projects. It currently includes the mentioned icon sets, rounded out with various pieces of artwork created by myself and others. Additionally, it includes a Reloader module to re-modify your files if they are overwritten, allowing system updates to be performed without breaking the theme. If you experience issues with the Patcher, please consult the documentation.

- Resource Hacker and 7-Zip are included as a necessity of operation.
|
|
- 7-Zip is released under the GNU LGPL.
|
|
- The Gnome Colors icon library was created by the Gnome Colors Project and is released under the GNU General Public License, and my converted material based on the Gnome Colors icons implicitly inherits this license.

|
- The Gnome-Icon-Theme was created by the Gnome Desktop Project and is released under the GNU General Public license.
|
|
- The Tango icon library was created by the Tango Desktop Project and is released under the Creative Commons Attribution Share-Alike license, and my converted material based on the Tango icons implicitly inherits this license.

|
- Unless they contain portions of resources distributed under a specific license, my icon creations may be used under the terms of the CC-by-SA license, or the GNU GPL - whichever license is more convenient for you.
|
|
|
|
Some resources are not official Gnome-Colors, are of unknown licensing, and are included for completeness; it is my opinion that they are appropriate and of very good quality, both visually and metaphorically. If you are the creator of any of those resources, consider their inclusion to be a compliment to your abilities and not an attack on your intellectual property rights. |
