Course date registration data reports correctly.
MDL-77306 added a count of how many courses there are
without start and end dates. However, all courses have
a start date, it is only the end date that is optional.
This patch fixes the data collection and makes the lang
string describing it clearer.
Add the DB type, count of courses with start or end dates set,
default site theme, and primary auth type statistics to those
collected as part of the site registration data.
The following lang strings have been undepecated, as they are still
in use:
* errorcoursewronglypublished, core_hub
* eventrolecapabilitiesupdated, core_role
This is an update of the site registration admin page and some relevant
backend code to remove the mentions of moodle.net.
AMOS BEGIN
CPY [registerwithmoodleorg,core_admin],[registerwithmoodleorg,core_hub]
AMOS END
Significant string changes:
- configgeneralfiles,core_backup - includes explanation of implications
of settings
- mobilenotificationsdisabledwarning,tool_mobile - location corrected
- statsreport14,core - 'views/posts' corrected to 'posts/views'
- err_nousers,core_completion - explanation of who completion
- information is displayed for errorcourselisting,block_community - note
about sunsetting moodle.net
Significant string changes:
* moodleorghubname,core_admin and
sitemustberegistered,message_airnotifier - 'Moodle.net' changed to
'Moodle'
* registration_help,core_admin and registermoochtips,core_hub - removed
erroneous 'access to Moodle.net our course sharing platform'
* trackingtype_help,mod_forum and formnotavailable,core_grading and
showgrades_help,core and rolewarning_help,core_rating -
'Administration block' changed to 'Actions menu or admin block',
'navigation block' changed to 'navigation drawer or block'
The general string 'Publish' has been used in sense of publishing a
course on a hub - as such, it is better to keep that string together
with other related strings in the core_hub component. All these are
being reworded to 'Share'.
As this has been the only meaning of the string in the core, I am
deprecating it now. Third party plugins should better come with their
own variant of the string, should they need it.
Significant string changes:
* multiple strings in core_hub - 'Publish' changed to 'Share' plus other
wording improvements to avoid misunderstandings
* errorretrievingkey in message_airnotifier - improved wording and
removing reference to Moodle.org
* enddate_help and courseduration_desc in core - clearer wording
explaining what the date actually does
* restore:viewautomatedfilearea in core_role - changing wording to match
the behaviour
* dropzones_help in qtype_ddmarker - improved wording
* autologinkeygenerationlockout in tool_mobile - updated error message
* configallowemailaddresses in core_admin - clearer description
* subscriptionmode_helpin mod_forum - removing misleading sentence about
subscription mode changes not affecting existing users
Support for alternative hubs will be removed in 3.4
We can move all methods working with registration, course publishing and moodle.net
communication into separate namespace
