This software is provided 'as-is', without any express or implied warranty. In no event will the author be held liable for any damages arising from the use of this software.
Permission is granted to anyone to use this software for any purpose, including commercial applications, and to redistribute it freely, subject to the following restrictions:
1. The origin of this software must not be misrepresented; you must not claim that you wrote the original software. If you use this software in a product or compilation, an acknowledgment in the documentation would be appreciated but is not required.
1. You may not modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the object code portions of this software.
1. You may not charge a fee for the redistribution of this software, except to cover the cost of media or transmission.
1. This software must not be used in a manner inconsistent with the terms of the licenses of its included resources (graphical materials and artwork).
1. This notice may not be removed or altered from any distribution.
This software contains resources (graphical materials and artwork) that are altered versions of, have been compiled and converted from, are composited from, or are otherwise containing resources that are licensed under multiple free-software and free-media licenses.
1. The resources licensed under the Creation Commons Attribution Share-Alike (CC-by-SA) license may be freely distributed and re-modified, provided you acknowledge the creator of the resources, and maintain the CC-by-SA as their license.
2. The resources licensed under the GNU GPL may be freely distributed and re-modified, provided that you make source code available as well, and maintain the GNU GPL as their license. In the ordinary sense, the definition of source code is fuzzy in regards to resources, as they are both usuable in software and modifiable; however, when converted to the Win-dows ICO format there is a clear separation between the source PNG and SVG resources and the converted ICO resources. The author promises to provide the source PNG and SVG material if asked; however, there is typically little need to, as the versions of GPLed resources included were cre-ated using source material identical to that available from upstream providers; it is also largely possible to recreate the original source material from the included resources. The included versions can be interpreted both as modified source code and as compiled binaries.
3. The resources are being inserted into the resource areas of software made available under a variety of restrictive proprietary licenses typically considered incompatible with the free software and media licenses covering the resources. For the purposes of this software, the resources areas of the target software are to be considered a filesystem (theoretically, one COULD create a filesystem driver wherein mounting an image produces a filesystem of seperate images), rather than a group of statically linked libraries. Otherwise, the GPL would require... someone... to release the source code of Windows under the GPL, which, let's face it kiddies, isn't going to happen, full stop. Either way, don't redistribute your system files containing GPL'ed resources, as this would constitute a violation of both the GPL and the Windows licenses.

The author is not a lawyer, merely a geek. If you believe your license to have been violated, it is more likely to have occurred for reasons of prag-matic simplicity or simple laziness, rather than as an intentionally mali-cious act. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the licensing of included resources (or anything else, for that matter), please contact me.
